Sailing camps offer the opportunity to discover the sport of sailing in a safe, supervised and stimulating environment. The emphasis is on fun on the water, water safety and the practice of the sport of sailing. While the focus is on sailing activities throughout the week, the program also includes fun activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding and beach games, to make sure your little ones don’t get bored. By the end of the week, new sailors will know the principles of sailing, including wind and weather theory, rigging, knots, boat handling and navigation on age-appropriate boats.
SAILING CAMP FOR AGES 7 TO 12
Sailing camps for children aged 7 to 12 offer a fun introduction to the sport of sailing. Young sailors will be introduced to the theoretical concepts of sailing and wind, while learning the essential basics of navigation.

SAILING CAMP FOR 13 TO 17 YEAR OLDS
Sailing camps for teenagers aged 13 to 17 provide the ideal setting for young sailors to explore dinghy sailing and deepen their catamaran experience. These camps focus on developing independent sailing skills and perfecting basic maneuvers to master them fully.

INSTRUCTIONS
Sailing camps run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Outside these hours, childcare can be arranged on request, at an additional cost.
To register your child, please click on the “BOOK” button and select the desired week according to availability. A deposit of $100 will be required online to finalize your child’s registration. The balance must be paid on the first day of camp. Please note our cancellation and refund policies before booking.

Did you know that the Quebec government offers a beneficial program to alleviate the costs of day camps for your children? The Childcare Expense Tax Credit Program, commonly known as T24, allows parents to benefit from a tax credit for childcare expenses incurred during the summer period.
This program is excellent news for families considering joining us for our sailing camps. By enrolling your child in our camp, not only will they enjoy a rewarding and entertaining experience, but you could also benefit from significant cost reduction through T24.
The activities offered by our sailing camp are eligible for T24, meaning that registration fees can be deducted from your taxable income, thereby reducing the total amount you have to pay. It’s a fantastic opportunity to allow your child to discover the world of sailing while optimizing your family finances.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Cancellation request
All requests must be made in writing and sent to Voile Sansoucy by e-mail at info@voilesansoucy.com.
Refound
Request made 7 days before the start of the sailing camp: 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
Requests made less than 7 days before the start of sailing camp: no deposit will be refunded.
Requests made after the start of camp, for medical reasons only, with presentation of a doctor’s bill: the amount refunded will be prorated for days and/or weeks not used.
Cancellation by Voile Sansoucy
Sailing camps are held rain or shine. However, Voile Sansoucy reserves the right to cancel a week’s camp if there are not enough participants (minimum number of 4 participants to maintain a group). In such cases, a full refund of the deposit will be made. Voile Sansoucy will not be required to reschedule or refund any activity or course cancelled for reasons beyond its control (e.g. power failure, etc.).
