Voile Sansoucy presents the Erplast range, a new selection of rotomolded polyethylene catamarans from 10.5 to 15.5 feet, as well as Optimist dinghies.
The main advantage of this new range lies in the use of polyethylene hulls. This material offers greater resistance to impact and abrasion, particularly on sand, while remaining lightweight, making the catamaran easier to handle. It also prevents the formation of algae, simplifying maintenance. This thermo-plastic is non-toxic and recyclable at the end of its life! Finally, the use of this material considerably reduces costs, which translates into a more affordable price for our catamarans.
Erplast, with its modern, attractive design, is making its debut in Quebec thanks to our collaboration with Voile Sansoucy. We offer you safe, high-performance and affordable catamarans, with the aim of sharing our passion for sailing. ABOUT ERPLAST
ERPLAST is a French company, founded in 1985, specializing in the manufacture of sports catamarans in rotomolded polyethylene. ERPLAST has been the leading builder of Optimist dinghies for over 30 years. The company was also the first to launch the Optilene, a polyethylene Optimist, in 1985. This enabled clubs to make the sport of sailing more accessible. Several years later, ERPLAST acquired the New Cat and KL Catamarans brands, and began manufacturing catamarans in rotomolded polyethylene. Finally, in 2013, ERPLAST launched a new range of catamarans.
