RENTAL OF CATAMARANS & SAILBOATS

INSTRUCTIONS

• Light Sailing •

Clients wishing to rent one of our catamarans must have taken the Introduction to Light Sailing course or the CanSail 1 & 2 course within the last two years. If you have taken the course before, or if you are an out-of-town client, a one-hour certification is required before the first rental of the year (Certification valid for the entire summer season) at a cost of $90+tx.

 • Sailing cruise •

Customers wishing to rent our 26-foot sailing yacht (Tanzer 26) or our 27-foot catamaran (Stiletto 27) must meet the following requirements:

Hold a basic elementary cruising sailing certificate as skipper.

Possess a VHF radio operator’s certificate.

Have a Pleasure Craft Card.

Have their marine CV validated beforehand.

Before booking, a mandatory 3-hour training session with an instructor is required at a cost of $275 + tax. This prerequisite does not apply to customers who have taken their elementary course at Voile Sansoucy during the same year.

During the rental period, the renter must carry his or her pleasure craft card and cell phone with him or her at all times, so that he or she can be reached at any time. Finally, before taking possession of the boat, the renter must present a navigation plan adapted to the day’s weather and wind conditions.
